  • Do my Legado cymbals have a manufacturer's warranty?
Yes! Your Legado cymbals come with a 2-Year Limited Warranty. LEGADO cymbals (excluding splash cymbals & FX cymbals with holes) have a two-year warranty from date of purchase against manufacturing flaws. LEGADO requires that all cymbals for warranty replacement be returned to us for review. Please write an email to with photos of the faulty product that you claiming for replacement. We will reply shortly. Please do not send any packages to our address without our confirmation. Please enclose a copy of your original purchase receipt with your cymbal, as this is vital to determining the warranty period. A cymbal will not be replaced if it has been misplayed, dropped, played with excessive force, or treated abusively; bought second hand; or if more than two years have passed since the purchase of the cymbal.
  • What is the best way to protect my Legado cymbals?
When mounting your cymbals make sure you have a cymbal sleeve and felt on your stand. Metal to metal contact will degrade the cymbals hole and can lead to keyholing and our spiderweb cracks. When hitting the cymbal make sure it swings freely. Overtightening the wingnut reduces the resonance of the cymbal and could cause the cymbal to crack around bell. The edge of a cymbal is the thinnest, always angle the cymbal towards you even if just a little it goes along way to prevent stress and cracking. Use a cymbal bag, case or even a guitar stand to store your cymbals, do not stand cymbals on their edge as the cymbal may bend or chip over time.
  • How do I clean and polish my Legado cymbals?
CLEANING YOUR CYMBALS Using a microfiber cloth use a small amount of soap and warm water for basic clean. Dry immediately to avoid moisture and prevent rust. POLISHING YOUR CYMBALS We recommend using a brand name cymbal cleaner. Apply small amount of cleaner to microfiber cloth and grooves of cymbal to clean. Avoid logos otherwise the cleaner will remove them. Remove the polish with a clean dry microfiber cloth then run under warm water and dry immediately to remove polish.
